It was assumed by Spitzer (1939) that learning increased if pupils, even for a
short while, examined their corrected tests. Plowman and Stroud (1942) found that
their assumption that knowledge of results on objective tests influences learning in a
positive direction was correct. It is the object of this article to report the results of
a minor
