If you don't understand the complexities of RegVac and/or the Registry but you still want a clean Registry, the Novice Mode is for you.
The Novice Mode has only two controls on it, a "Clean Registry" button and a checkbox.
When the "Clean Registry" button is pressed, the Registry will be safely cleaned. What this button does is run Classes Vac, File Lists Vac, Software Vac (removing Suspect Entries), Bad Links Vac, and Junk Vac automatically.
Checking the checkbox in Novice Mode will cause RegVac to be run daily when Windows starts. At that time the "Clean Registry" button will be automatically run.
The "Clean Registry" button will clean most of the bad stuff out of the Registry. To do more, you will have to go into Expert Mode which will require you to make knowledgeable decisions. Making the wrong decision can cause problems with Windows (usually nothing drastic).
